< Why Nehemiah?

Nehemiah is not only a book in the Bible, but it is a book about this very same man who was called by God to go back to his native land of Israel(specifically Jerusalem), from the Country that his people had been taken to by their conquerors.  He had heard that the remnant of his people that were left behind in Jerusalem when they were conquered,were in distress, great reproach, and that the wall of Jerusalem was broken down, and its gates were burned.  

However, Nehemiah was the King of Persia's cup bearer at this time, and the news of his homeland caused him to weep and mourn for days over his people's sad condition and their sins that caused them to be in this situation to begin with, but it also caused him to pray that God would allow him to go there and help to rebuild Jerusalem. That would be tough, since the aforementioned position that he held would preclude him from leaving the king's side at all.

Fortunately, God answered his prayer to go to a place that he had never been before, his own homeland. Because, you see, he had been born and raised, in the kingdom of Babylon, then in the Kingdom of Persia, who had in turn conquered the Babylonians.  The King granted his request, and sent officers and horseman, along with a letter for the govenors of the provinces that the Persians ruled over, so that Nehemiah would be able to accomplish his feat.

The point of this, is that Nehemiah was going to help his own people by first praying for them, then calling them to repent, then rebuilding the walls and gates of his homeland that were torn down because of the people's sin and idolatry, God allowing the foreign Nation of Babylon to execute His justice on His people, so that they would turn back to Him, then protection would be restored, God's blessing would come back and Nehemiah's nation would not cease to exist.

That is what Nehemiah Ministries is all about, praying for the people of this Country, calling them to repentance, then rebuilding the walls of righteousness, holiness, blessing and protection that are being torn down by our sin and idolatry. So that God will not have to allow an instrument of His judgment to conquer us and drag us off to a foreign land, and govern our land as a province of another Nation. 

We have already been attacked on our soil by another Nation, killing and wounding thousands in one swift blow.  More attacks are surely on their way, because our enemies want to see this Nation of ours fall, and be ruled by Muslim Shia law, BECOMING A PROVINCE OF THE MUSLIM EMPIRE. Does anyone find it strange that the same people (Babylon and Persia), who conquered and ruled over Israel in the days of Jeremiah and then Nehemiah, are the same people(Iraq and Iran) who were and are seeking to conquer through the religion of Islam, our Country. Using propaganda and violence to attain their goal, these enemy scouts are using our freedoms to infiltrate, subvert, divide, cause diversions and dissensions, and attack with open impunity, the very Faith that this Country was founded on.

Another strange thing about this situation is that Israel was a Nation of One God, like we were at one time.  But before they were conquered, they had become a Nation who worshipped many false gods, so God brought on them a Nation who worshiped a false god. We now are a Nation who worships many false gods, and have been attacked by a Nation who worships a false god.

Stranger still, Israel had been attacked in small ways by Babylon before the major invasion had come. We also have been attacked in a deadly but small way.........is the wall about to fall here in this Country? 

The unfortunate thing about all of this, is that we have brought this own ourselves, as did the Israelites in the days of Nehemiah. We are reaping what we have sown. We have sown to the flesh and are reaping death. We have sown to the wind, and are reaping the whirlwind

Traveling and Wall Building

It is the mission of this ministry to travel to wherever God sends us in this Country of ours to bring the message of repentance to God's people, and the task of rebuilding the wall that has been torn down by our sin and idolatry, once repentance has been accomplished.  It is not a message of renewal, refreshing or revival, which are by-products, and the result of repentance, the cart has to go behind the horse to work right, not the other way around.

God's time table for this to be accomplished is first up to us and our response to His call to repentance, then it is up to His mercy and grace on how He will restore His blessings and protection on this Country of ours.

I ask that prayers be lifted up to the Throne of Grace, so that the enemy of our souls will be thwarted in his attempt to bring this Country down, and to keep him from blocking this ministry from carrying out God's will for this Nation. To also bind the enemy from blinding God's people to clearly see the urgency of corporate repentance.
